Greg Alexander is a conservative Republican seeking reelection to the Michigan House of Representatives for the 98th District, which includes all of Huron County and parts of Sanilac, Tuscola, and Lapeer Counties.

Born and raised on a dairy farm in Sanilac County, Greg developed a deep appreciation for agriculture early in life. After graduating from Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School, he spent 15 years working in small business, retail, building, and infrastructure.

In 2008, Greg was elected as Sanilac County’s Drain Commissioner, where he tackled critical infrastructure issues and modernized the Drain Department to enhance efficiency and fairness. As a State Representative, he has championed rural Michigan values, fighting for the interests of his constituents.

Greg is committed to continuing his work in Lansing, advocating for lower taxes and fewer regulations, opposing wasteful spending, and defending the Second Amendment.

Amidst an economy grappling with steep inflation and high fuel prices under the Whitmer/Biden administration, Greg fights for tax reductions to benefit all Michiganders. He is also dedicated to bolstering public trust in the electoral process by advocating for sensible voter ID legislation. Despite facing gubernatorial vetoes, he remains steadfast in his efforts to uphold the integrity of our elections. Additionally, as a farmer, Greg believes in responsible stewardship of our land and environment, emphasizing local control over energy decisions.
